HoopShoot

On February 12th, the Elks State Hoop Shoot witnessed two generations in a family participating in the State Hoop Shoot.

Meet Naira Stearnes from Artesia who is coaching her daughters in the NM Elks State Hoop Shoot.  Naira participated in the Hoop Shoot many years ago.

Albuquerque 461 cooks for Vets

Elk Lodge 461 was busy today preparing meals with members of the Nuclear Weapons Center NDO who came to lend a helping hand!

Prepared and delivered was 90 meals for the Raymond G. Murphy Veterans Hospital and for 55 staff members.

Thank you to our Veteran’s Chair Wendy, Tammy and the host of volunteers from Kirtland Air Force Base. 

Alb Lodge #461 Ronald McDonald House

Albuquerque Elks Lodge 461

Day 1 and 2 of purchasing items and taking to the Ronald McDonald House for three area facilities (UNMH, Pres. And Ronald McDonald House).

The snacks will go into the Respite Areas for families to enjoy during their stay at the Hospitals.

    Gallup visit by President Hitchcock

    President Jerry Hitchcock and Exalted Ruler Rodriguez from our NMEA President’s Dinner in Gallup. We were fortunate to have President Hitchcock here after being “flocked” with Pink Flamingos as part of a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Association. Gallup Lodge donated $2000.00 to the Alzheimer’s Association in August

      Lordsburg Lodge #1813 Celebrates Elks National Youth Week – MAY 1-7, 2022

      The Lordsburg Elks Lodge joined forces with the Lordsburg local Head Start to celebrate Youth Week, in conjunction with The Week of the Young Child. The multiagency event featured games, education and food for more than 150 kids of all ages. Lordsburg Lodge jump started summer and the warm weather with lots of free water toys for the children, donated by the local Dollar General, a huge supporter of the lodge’s youth program. The 8 members of the Lordsburg lodge who were on site represented not only the BPOE, but also multiple organizations, including the Lordsburg Volunteer Fire Department, Hidalgo Medical Services, City of Lordsburg NM, NM Breastfeeding Task Force, Parents as Teachers and La Escuelita Head Start. The Lodge was proud to partner with such amazing agencies.
